FR Proud

April 9 was a sad day for this community and the Penn-Franklin News.
Since 1947 thousands of pages of print in this newspaper have told the stories of Franklin Regional students and their many accomplishments in academics, athletics and the arts.  Honor rolls, award ceremonies, graduations, musical productions and countless other articles have focused on district students.
While not all stories have been positive, nothing compares to the sadness we feel for the students and families touched by the tragic event of last Wednesday.
In future issues of this newspaper the headlines and feature stories will again be about the students who have accomplished so much.
Today we want all Franklin students to know we support them as they go back to school.
