Penn-Franklin News Day at Idlewild Park

Join us at Idlewild Park on Saturday, July 26. Tickets are $18.50 each, a savings of $8.45 per ticket (regularly priced $26.95). Tickets Tickets go on sale June 3. You can purchase tickets at:

Worried about the weather? Tickets pruchased for PFN Day can be used on any operating weekday and Aug. 30, 31 and Sept. 1 at no extra charge. Tickets also good on Saturday or Sunday with a $6.95 surcharge. No raincheck issued.

Bring your family and a picnic dinner, we'll bring the prizes.
Bonus - Join us at Pavilion C-1 to register for our prize drawing and receive a bonus of $2 per person* in fun money.
Those entering the park other than with PFN Day Tickets are not eligible for the $2 Bonus, but can register for the prize drawing.
Drawing is at 3 pm in pavilion C-1.

Business donating prizes will be acknowledged in our papers as supporters along with a prize listing on our web site. A 'thank you supporters' ad will run after July 26, and promotional ads will run before July 26 with prizes we have confirmed, so contact us today to give your business more exposure.

Summer Events

Once again, the PFN staff will be visiting local summer event to take pictures and may even bring along our prize wheel. As additional dates and events are confirmed, we will list them here.

The PFN crew will also be at the Murrysville Community Picnic on Sunday, July 27, 2008. One of our folks will have a hydrogen rocket for kids to try out and we'll be taking pictures.

Printing Schedule

Due to the summer holidays and vacations, our printing schedule will be adjusted on the following dates:

July 2 & 7 - no papers due to vacation week, the office will be closed.
September 1 - no paper due to Labor Day Weekend, Monday papers will come out on Tuesday due to the post office being closed.
