Classified Ads

Please note: No Ads will be taken over the phone, by fax or by e-mail.
Deadlines for all classified ads are 5:00 pm Wednesday for the Monday paper.

Rates – Subscribers

If you are a subscriber to the Penn-Franklin News, Delmont Salem News or the Penn-Trafford News, you may have one free personal classified ad of 16 words for 2 consecutive issues. Additional words are 10 ¢ each. The free classifieds must be submitted by mail or in person to our office, and be accompanied by a recent (within one month) address portion of your paper. Copies are not acceptable. One ten digit phone number and category name do not count in the 16 word limit.

Free ads do not include garage, moving or yard sales, real estate or commercial ads.

Rates – Non Subscribers

Rates for classified ads for non subscribers, garage, moving or yard sales and commercial ads are based on 16 words plus one ten digit phone number and category name. There is an extra charge for each word over 16. Ads must be brought to the office or mailed in and paid for before insertion. Rates are $5.00 for the first issue and $2.00 for each additional issue. Extra words (over the base 16 words) will be 5¢ per word per week.

Deadlines & Submission

Deadline for the Monday edition of the paper is 5:00 pm on Wednesday.

All classified ads, free or paid, must be mailed in or brought into our office. We will not take classified ads over the phone, by fax or by e-mail. Ads must be paid for prior to running in the paper, we do not bill for classified ads. You can mail ads to:

Disclaimers

We will accept responsibility for one day’s errors. Please check ads on first day of insertion. No refunds will be issued for multiple week ads that are canceled after the first week. Once an ad begins to run it cannot be changed.

The Penn-Franklin Publishing Company reserves the right to edit or reject any advertising copy and determine the correct classification of any advertisement.
